The grumpy nortonian spent a lot of time reading other wine blogs the last few weeks....some really excelent ones and some on a pure ego trip, contemplating where I could fit in. The Snooth wine blog is my fave, always kandid, factual and to the point. The wine curmudgeon always does an excellent job and then there my other fave...lady Janice McClain, who, among other things wrote several books on wine and maintains a vary informative wine blog. BUT, I am supposed to write about the Norton wine. I will....after I finish my glass of 09 Norton Estate wine from Chrysalis...just plain awesome...coming of age, like me. The Norton with a blend of Petite Verdo and Nebbiolo is a fine wine that rivals....heck...outshines any Californian red. Biased? NO! just factual. More to come!
